The seminar consists of 18 hours of formatted content with 3 additional hours of unformatted content. The reason for this split is to ensure that we cover a standard body of material that will empower you to create VB.NET and ADO.NET solutions while we concurrently introduce an element of flexibility into the seminar. It is expected that you will have the chance to ask questions while we're covering the formatted content. However, we may sometimes stop answering questions so that we can ensure covering the total body of material within 18 hours. This will leave the unformatted hours available for more involved questions or even simple ones that we didn't have the time to answer during the regular sessions. We also reserve the flexibility to digress from the formatted content in response to especially compelling questions. In this case, the unformatted time will be devoted to covering formatted content. The formatted hours will be presented on two different schedules. For the two daytime presentations, you will have a standard six hours of training each day with an optional hour session at the end. Because these daytime sessions occur over 3 days, this agenda results in a total of 18-21 hours of training. For the evening presentation of the seminar, you will have a standard three hours of training each evening with an optional half-hour session at the end. This schedule leads to a total of 18-21 hours of training. You can think of the formatted content as dividing into three major blocks of about 6 hours each. Within each block there are 5 lessons, and each lesson covers a body of related content. The following table presents the major themes of the five lessons in each six-hour block of formatted content. Links for the lesson numbers let you drill down into the lesson titles within each block.
