VB.NET and ADO.NET Web Seminar

For VB, SQL Server, and Access Developers

Welcome to the home page for the "VB.NET and ADO.NET Web Seminar for VB, SQL Server, and Access Developers".  We completed our site's sixth annual seminar presentation series.  This year's seminar empowered attendees to

bulletProgram solutions in Visual Basic .NET and
bulletUse ADO.NET with both SQL Server and Access databases.

The seminar consisted of 21 hours of training spread over three days or six evenings.  The seminar was presented at different day parts (days or evenings) and in different time zones for the convenience of seminar participants.  To receive early notification of our next seminar presentation series, sign our Guest Book.

Here's selected feedback from seminar participants.

bulletYour presentation was great and your attention to detail was perfect.
bulletI will strongly advise others to do the same and take your on-line courses.
bulletYou were always engaging and friendly, presenting a positive learning environment.
bulletThe presentations and demos were well done and well thought out -- simple and yet adequate to the task at hand without unnecessary detail.
bulletI gained a lot of great information from the conference ... the price made it easy to get approval from my company ... the resources that came with the course were great. I would recommend Rick's course to a colleague.

Seminar participants viewed slides and live demonstrations in their browsers.  We reviewed the code behind working samples during the seminar presentations.  The seminar materials consisted of over 300 slides and scores of code samples comprised of hundreds of lines of VB.NET and ADO.NET code.  Seminar participants interacted verbally with the presenter and one another over our toll-free telephone number.  Each seminar presentation was restricted to a maximum size of less than 10 registrants.   This small class size along with the rich body of seminar materials made it possible to address the needs of individual participants.

By conducting the seminar on the web, we dramatically lowered the cost for live, interactive training.  In addition, seminar participants saved on the inconvenience and cost of traveling to a hotel in a major city.  Here are selected links for learning more about the seminar.
