Access/SQL Server/VB.NET
Development Seminar |
For Database Developers and
Administrators
|
Welcome
to the home page for the "Access/SQL
Server/VB.NET Development
Seminar". Our fifth annual seminar tour concluded on October 9,
2003. We have new, exciting seminars planned for 2004. Bookmark this page or sign our
Guest Book for news of upcoming seminar
tours. E-mail us at
seminars@programmingmsaccess.com if you have special training requirements
that you want us to address.
Those attending the fifth annual seminar tour included Access developers and
VB developers from industry and academia. The Access developers expressed
a healthy interest in migrating some of their applications to SQL Server, and
the VB developers wanted to learn how to tap SQL Server as well as how to
program the .NET Framework. Nearly all the attendees were sponsored by
organizations, such as a major oil firm, insurance/leasing firms, manufacturers,
and educational/health care providers. We regularly update
our list of well known organizations
sending registrants to our seminars.
Sample feedback from 2003 attendees follows:
 | Your seminar was one of the best I've ever attended. You know an
incredible amount of Microsoft info and you present it clearly and completely.
I definitely would consider taking again. |
 | Thanks for the valuable seminar presentation this week. You gave
me an excellent roadmap for creating database application development projects. |
 | You did a great job in sharing very useful information. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to interact with you
over lunch, between sessions, and within sessions in a way that is not possible with the conference-style
training events. |
 | Your approach appeals to me more than other "programmer oriented" .NET
training because of its emphasis on database development. I especially
like the way you showed me how to apply VB.NET for quick access to business
data. |
 |
I enjoyed seeing how to design SQL Server tables and triggers
directly from within Access. I am look forward to using those
capabilities at my firm. |
 | I learned a lot from Rick (the presenter) that I'm going to put into use on my job. In
addition, the seminar experience is very cordial. It was a fun
time. |
