BackOffice Server 2000
Microsoft BackOffice Server 2000, an integrated server suite, includes the latest versions of the following Microsoft server applications: Windows 2000 Server, SQL Server 2000, Exchange 2000 Server, HIS 2000, ISA 2000, and Systems Management Server 2.0 with SP 2.0. With BackOffice Server 2000, companies can tailor their infrastructure deployment by using MultiServer, easily build customized solutions, and both manage and monitor the environment via local or remote administration. It is flexible and scalable: MultiServer deployment of BackOffice Server 2000 makes it easy to deploy a customized application server configuration on one, two, or three physical servers.BackOffice Server 2000 allows administrators to install single elements of the server application components they want to use on any of up to three possible physical servers. The MultiServer planning wizard helps users plan the installation and guides them through deploying the servers. BackOffice Server Setup automatically tracks the deployment of the MultiServer in the Windows 2000 Active Directory service. The Internet connection wizard guides users through configuring BackOffice Server as the gateway server connecting the IT network to the Internet.
