Dear FullName,

This message is for registered ProgrammingMSAccess.com site visitors as well as other friends of the site.  It is our last message before the end of the month and the quarter.  When this happens there are normally prizes to be won in the near term future by those who signed our Guest Book during the quarter.  Members of our Database Developers Group (DDG) always get special treatment at the site, including for prizes.  We also set aside some prizes just for DDG members.  We close the message with a reminder about our upcoming seminar presentations, including the new slashed prices.  If you have the time and interest, we’d like to train you during July and August.  BTW, I remind you that our site features content for Access, SQL Server, and VB.NET developers.  This holds for our prizes and other opportunities as well.  Therefore, I urge you to read on no matter what kind of developer you are.

Second Quarter Prizes

Our prize sponsors have been especially generous during the second quarter.  Superior Software for Windows, or SSW as they are commonly referred to, offers two valuable software prizes that target the needs of both Access and SQL Server developers.  Gary Robinson, an author, developer, and fellow webmaster, is offering his Programmer’s Pack.  ProgrammingMSAccess.com site visitors have shown a real interest in Gary’s software in the past.  His Programmer’s Pack is the complete array of his Access and Office development tools.  Peter’s Software is a new prize sponsor at ProgrammingMSAccess.com, but this firm has been offering tools for Access developers for a very long time.  You have a chance to win two prizes from this experienced software vendor.  Finally, general site visitors can win a copy of my most recent DVD titled “Visually Learn Visual Basic .NET in 12 Hours”.  DV Press, my DVD publisher, sponsors this prize.

You can learn more about any of these prizes as well as exactly how to qualify to win them from the Free Stuff section of our site.

DDG Member Prize Opportunities

Anyone who is an active member of our Database Developers Group becomes eligible to win one of two copies of my first DVD titled “Programming Visual Basic .NET and ADO.NET with SQL Server and Access”.  This DVD delivers 12 hours of training along with sample code.  DDG members are automatically eligible to win any prize offered to regular site visitors, such as those mentioned in the preceding section.  In addition, if any person selected to win a prize for registered site visitors fails to confirm acceptance of their prize within a couple of days, then that prize is automatically made available exclusively to DDG members.

Besides prizes, I remind you that DDG members receive many benefits, including seminar rebates, access to a special library of white papers, book excerpts, presentation slide decks, and code samples, as well as consulting referrals.  In fact, we just issued a referral to DDG members.  Converting just one of these referrals to an assignment can more than pay for the cost of DDG membership.

VB.NET and ADO.NET Webcast Seminar

We currently have registrants for all three presentations of our VB.NET and ADO.NET Webcast Seminar, but you can still register for any of our seminar presentations.  In case you were looking for a great training opportunity this summer, this is it.  The seminar especially targets VB, SQL Server, and Access developers who want to ramp up to speed on VB.NET and ADO.NET.  I will present the seminar three times during July and August.  It will draw on my prior books, DVDs, and articles about VB.NET and ADO.NET.  There is no risk in taking these seminars because you can look over the content at this site and read excerpts from my books to tell whether my presentation style and the level of my content is appropriate for you.  In addition, the seminar offers some tremendous gifts and prizes to registrants.  For example, the grand prize winner gets a portable 7-inch DVD player.  If all this were not good enough, we recently lowered our registration fee by up to $300.  You can now attend any presentation series with up to 21 hours of training for just $450.  Remember that DDG members get rebates to drive the registration fee even lower!

Learn more about the seminar at http://www.programmingmsaccess.com/Seminar2004/default.htm or find out how to register now at http://www.programmingmsaccess.com/Seminar2004/RegistrationOrders.htm.

I purposefully tried to keep this message short.  I hope you think the message is powerful and packed with great, rewarding content.  If I had more space, I would tell you about the new content at the site, but come by and look for yourself.

I close with the normal reminder that you can reply to this message with Remove in the Subject field if you wish to receive no future messages from our site.  It is my hope that instead of choosing to remove your email address from our contact list that you take a moment to recruit others to the opportunities available from the site.  Consider sharing this message with one or more of your colleagues.  Please take a moment right now to forward it to them.

Regards,

Rick
