Dear FullName,

I apologize for sending you a second message so soon, but the one that I recently sent you was an incorrect message originally mailed in March.  This message reflects some very interesting recent developments at the site.  I hope you find its content timely and of value to you.

This message brings good news about opportunities and content available at ProgrammingMSAccess.com. You are receiving this message because you are on the contact list of registered visitors and friends of ProgrammingMSAccess.com.  In particular, you will learn about new slashed prices for the VB.NET and ADO.NET Webcast Seminar for VB, SQL Server, and Access Developers.  In addition, we remind you about a slew of prizes available to our Guest Book registrants, seminar attendees, and new or renewing Database Developers Group (DDG) members.  Finally, you get a heads up about a link to informative video content on Web Services.

Seminar Webcast Prices Slashed

Several folks have told that they want to attend our VB.NET/ADO.NET seminar for SQL Server and Access developers, but they need a lower price in order to get company approval or pay for it themselves.  In response to these comments, we lowered the seminar registration fee by $300 from our already phenomenally low standard registration fee.  Furthermore this great price of just $450 is available up until the day before a seminar presentation.  Therefore, you do not need to worry about getting approval before an early-bird expiration date.  You can lean more about the new registration fees from the seminar site’s home page.

Although we are dramatically cutting the price for seminar attendance, everything else is the same.  You still receive the same great training over the same amount of time.  We’re still keeping the class size small to facilitate your personal interaction with the trainer.  In addition, you receive the same informative and useful gifts plus chances to win even more valuable prizes.  As you can see, we have cut the price, but not the quality.

We still offer a couple of ways to drive down the registration fee (this is from our new slashed prices).  Those winning seminar rebate coupons at Microsoft VB User Group tour events still receive the same $100 value for their coupon.  For these lucky coupon winners, this can reduce the price to just $350.  You can also cut the cost by joining the DDG.  All DDG members receive a 5 percent rebate paid directly to them.

Prize Available for DDG Members

In my last round of messages, I tried to tell recipients about a prize opportunity for the first new or renewing DDG member during June.  Unfortunately, I kept on sending the wrong URL to learn more about the prize.  The first new member to join or existing member to renew during June wins a copy of Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System (VSTO).  VSTO has valuable tools for Access, SQL Server, VB, and Office developers.  VSTO is a new addition to the world of Office development that combines Visual Studio .NET with the programmability of Office.  If you are interested in getting a free copy of Visual Basic .NET, the SQL Server Developer Edition, the Access 2003 packaging and deployment tools (including a license to redistribute solutions with the Access 2003 runtime), this is the package that you want.  You can learn more about the prize at our site’s DDG page.

This great prize is still available to the first member to join or renew during June.  It is that simple.  Good luck, but remember the prize is to the swift.

Even More Prizes and Gifts

As we approach the end of the quarter, you will also want to visit ProgrammingMSAccess.com to make sure that you have done whatever you want to qualify for a prize that you want to win.  We offer prizes for anyone who signs our Guest Book during the quarter, to DDG members (whether or not they are new), and to seminar registrants.  There are too many to mention here, but you can get the full story from our Free Stuff page.

New and Popular Content

Despite the site’s name, we have for years provided content to SQL Server and VB.NET developers as well as Access developers and power users.  In the past several weeks, many site visitors selected to view the slide deck for our Developing Windows and Web Solutions with ADO.NET and SQL Server.  We invite you to take a look so that you can see what’s so interesting to our other site visitors.  In addition, we just added links to two interviews with Rebecca Dias, Microsoft program manager for Advanced Web Services.  Ken North conducted the interviews at TechED 2004.  You can discover the link to the interviews along with other links for .NET content at our .NET Resources page.

I hope you found this message informative and helpful.  As usual, I close by inviting you to share this message with one or more of your colleagues.  Feel free to forward this message to one or more of your friends right now.  You can post any part of the message to one or more of your favorite newsgroups.  By taking a moment now to share the good news, someone will surely thank you for letting them know about the slashed seminar registration fee, prize opportunities, or new content at our site.  If you prefer not to receive future messages from ProgrammingMSAccess.com, just reply to this message with Remove in the Subject field.
