 | Vendors and book publishers are very often pleased to have their products
reviewed by group members |
| It is not unusual for product vendors and book publishers to send "review"
copies to a group for review |
| The
Database Developers Group offers a special benefit in that it can
circulate reviews to members of the group as well as general
ProgrammingMSAccess site visitors, which number in the thousands per week |
| Members who perform these reviews are eligible to keep the products,
books or DVDs |
| In our monthly mailing to members, we will identify any vendors or book
publishers which show a special willingness to make books or products
available for review. Members should also express for which products or
books they wish to see reviews so that site content is pertinent to the
interests of members |
| Please
write reviews of between 500 and 2,000 words with an appropriate number of
screen shots. Itemize the tasks that a product does or the topics a book
covers. Indicate what's good and bad about a product or book. If
you feel the product or book will help you be sure and say why.
Sincere, honest appraisals are sought, but avoid openly offensive remarks (for
example, this product stinks, and anyone who buys it is a dope) |
